Default Rasping noise from dm 800

Hi there does anyone elses box make a rasping noise when booting up or from time to time for no reason? When i got my box a friend installed all on it but said he had a few problems with getting a picture so he checked the tuner and noticed that the soldering wasn,t that good and it lay at an angle and not straight but after much sorting it booted up ok. But makes this noise also sometimes when i turn the box completely off at the power point and then turn it back on it won,t show any picture and i have to go into the menu and do a restart a few times and evenutally it comes back on. Anyone know whats happening here.? Many thanks for any replys.

Reseat the tuner, sounds like it is loose and sitting on the fan. While doing so spray some WD40 or similar on the fan.

    What image are you using?
