    Default SLK W171 seat buckle

SLK year 2015 with AIRBAG lamp on and dash display report "Check seat belt go to garage"

Passenger side got code B100B S68/4 (Actia diagnostic)
says buckle short or open circuit.

So I disconnect the yellow connector and in the seat side of the connector
in fact there is open circuit between yellow and blue wires.

I compared the driver side, that does not through error,
and the driver side is ALWAYS at zero ohm.

What is the correct resistive value when you insert the seat belt in the buckle?

Unfortunately I can't test with some resistor because my diagnostic
can read but not erase fault in this particular AIRBAG ecu.
I need to go to another garage and with them tool they can erase.

The OEM buckle is expensive but if I was the owner I will not discuss with that
price, considering the car is in mint condition and has 4 years.

    SOLVED
Run a new pair of wire from buckle to car connector because the yellow wire is broken where it matches the buckle.
Or buy a new buckle with explosive pretensioner just because it is not easy to do.
Required to remove the seat from the car.

If you look into ANY airbag plug on ANY car there is ALWAYS two metal pins to cause a dead short on detonator wires

the feature has been excluded many times at www.meat-head-motors.co.uk

Yes meaty, i have had this more than a few times. I call it a "Shorting bridge" I use a small zip tie as a key to lift the bride, only then can you test wires.

Is not an airbag connector, it's this one:

Is the one that tell the car if passenger has inserted the seat belt, or not.
    No shortbridge in these connector.
