    What a first post!!!!!!!

    You needs knowledge man!!!!!!!!!

How tha fcuk you gonna tune anything other than EDC15 ecu. KWP will only read and write. You need a whole lot more to tune. Knowledge of what youre actually doing for a start.

    Hi.

For beginning chiptuning,i suggest not to do what our friend Paraver is telling.

KWP2000 is cloned 20USD serial programmer, for old K-Line based cars.

    My suggestions go to

    *MagPro2-OptiCan-Kess-CMD-MPPS Serial programmers
    *Advantec or BeeProg paralell programmer
    *Swiftec editing software

If you wanna start with cheap solutions, and less support:

ECM2001 6.2 editing software(avaible on DK for free)
    CMD (canbus) Galetto (k-line)clone
    Wellon paralell programmer

yes you can make files to be flashed with kwp2000 programmer with ecm2001 software.

But ecm2001 is not the way to go, its very bad software with very bad drivers database, you shuld use winols instead.

kwp2000+ was a very good programmer, and it still is for that price, even if it only does old cars, it still does alot of them and i never had any problems with it. it even does several cars that galletto clone cant do.

But for beginners, ecm is not so complicated, and then can start, with ecm and ols, finding himself the maps in Ols,by searching them in ECM...adressesstill same

    Exclamation

    Best software???
Best software is the one that has SUPPORT.
Most all of the editors do not have detailed manuals on the use of the software and if they do they are very badly written. The people that write them seem to believe that everyone is a software-electronics expert and does not need detailed help.
Well, chip tuning is for automotive engineers ONLY that use the software as a tool to do the work THEY ONLY know how and WHY it should be like this and not like that...
No electronics or software guy has the mechanical knowledge to tune (change the mechanical parameters), of I.C engines... they only do this as a quick way to make easy and fast money and we all know the results of blown engines etc....

So the answer to this topic is easy I believe...

    Speedy
Knowledge is to share... so if I have helped just press [Thank You + Rep.]...

exactly but like my other thread says... which has better support and easy to use, etc,,,, I choose these 2 WinOls or Swiftec. I think Swiftec seems the best but I like to hear your experiences with any of these two software,

    thanks!

    But.

Checking files from PRO TUNERS i often dont see great differeces to what i do,whithout do shool for it,im no engineer.

But i saw some files,i believe they came from real pro s.

A G60 file for vw,no map had caracteristic of what is original from size...real big job.

Some old sierra and escort turbo files...

For these poeple i have LOT OF RESPECT

but telling you blow engines by doing what pro tuners do,is not thrue.
