xentry 09-2014 installation stops at key requests, key doesn't work - help

Hello, I am trying to install Xentry on an xp machine using the newguide2j ... DAS key works but Xentry doesn't. App id is 253. I tried replacing those commonlic and starutils files to no avail. I also tried to copy license files from a working VM but it didn't work. Any idea? Is there a way to bypass this control during installation and put the keys later?
What is the solution here?
