Clone simtec 71 to simtec 71.1

i have problem,I have simtec 71 09158726 bad ecu from z18xe engine.Bought this simtec 71.1 55355044 from same engine,but othėr car model,on the internet they say that they are interchangeable,ok I clone it with IO terminal,after clone instal in the car,and ecu is dead no comunication,before cloning there was a connection.maybe you have an idea where the problem could be and how to restore the ecu?
cloning went smoothly.At first I tried to program the immo,immo adapt ok,but car wont start,fault codes no mesage from bcm from dash and etc,then I decided on full cloning.but after cloning ecu dead,maybe it's a coincidence, I don't know...now ecu no communication,not possible write org file back.at least with the IO terminal....Thanks

I open the ecu 71.1,read out 29f400 with programmer and compare writed flash,with flash readed from 71,and all ok no diferent.then i try write org flash from donor and ecu recovered.so I don't understand why the ecu dies after writing my flash file???

Guessing you are trying to use a 1.8 corsa meriva or tigra ecu on a Zafira, which as you have found does not straight work.
I think you will have to write the data from a Zafira or Astra of the same ecu type for this to work
All a guess mind as never tried

yes ecu from tigra,i use this on zafira,and write flash and eeprom from zafira,but after this dump write ecu dead..

I doubt you can clone em from 71 to 71.1 , for best use same hardware ... and important also write the emulated eeprom!

I agree that maybe should use another sw which is suitable for simtec 71.1 and zafira

Next time clone eeprom only(car will start)then flash with TIS or other... to correct SW

Right. Clone eeprom first and then you need to do SPS by VIN. Will work. Did a lot of them in the past.

yes,IO terminal read write this ecu,I now try write file from astra 71.1 ecu,and then write zafira emulated eeprom,car start ok,but now have throttle body problem,fault P1526-8 throttle position no adaption and p1550-4 electronic throttle control power management.

What year is your zafira? 2001, 2002, or 2003? The ecu has the gnd connected to chassis?

Ok. Just copy with ioterminal one by one eep and flash from me. See which will work and report. I believe you don't have mdi for sps. Copy my files pairs and then reset and reprogram with opcom. Pass in PM

what are the differences between all your files?I try last file,throttle fault no,but car bad working at idle

One is zafira 2002 and the others are zafira 2003. All for simtec 71.1
Write the 2002 file and see

I try all files but something is wrong,only one cylinder seems to work,can anyone confirm that this is due to bad software?
