Dear Peugeot experts,
Peugeot 208 petrol = benzin 1397 displacement 70kW engine code 8FS, year 2009
after head rebuild has DTC P101D open circuit VTI electric motor

On VTI connector there are 2.77 V between the 2 pin with the connector disconnected.

Does the VTI motor need some settings or regulation after head removal?

It currently lack of power or die on the road.

Put a 501 bulb across it. Sidelight bulb

The mechanic that fitted the head did the job on late evening.
He checked in the morning the whole process and found loosen bolt on cam sensor.
Now engine run ok he will delete DTC and run.

Odd as often can unplug cam sensor and will still run

In fact still having problem. Will try the 501. When winter go away.
