Hi guys,

After a little google around I noticed a year old post on this forum from someone with an identical problem to mine, so I thought i'd sign up and see if any of you could help me.

Basically had a Power cut on thursday. Power came back after half an hour or so, but my flashed modem wouldn't go online, all the lights were stable apart from the Online one. (I have a Motorola SB5100i btw).

The person who posted a thread about this before seemed to resolve it by changing the mac address. I have no idea how to do this as a friend sorted me out with this modem and I am no longer in contact with him.

I have gone into the config page and rebooted the modem, as well as resetting the defaults (not sure if this was wise), alas this is as far as my knowledge on the subject stretches.

I'm with Virgin Media if that helps.

Any assistance on the matter would be MASSIVELY appreciated, as I really am in a pickle here.
