hello, I don't know much about the subject, but I heard that there were cases where if the battery is empty, the car won't start until you change it.
You must replace unit battrey control that installed on hybrid battrey pack.
this unit sense voltage battrey cells of battrey pack(28 cell) and send it to hybrid ecu
Hi, as others have stated, the battery "smart" ecu suffers from corrosion buildup on the ECU connector pins on Toyota/Lexus NiMh battery packs, which leads to shorting on the negative voltage sensor harness pin against one of the other module blocks and blows out the PCB. If the short is severe enough, you'll need to replace the voltage sensor harness as well.
The DTC U029A indicates a loss of communication with the hybrid battery pack sensor module. Check the wiring, connectors, 12V battery voltage, and CAN bus communication; if unresolved, the sensor module or ECU may need inspection or replacement.

Check battery modul, maybe corosive or floded
