X3 2008 E83 no crank

X3 2008 E83 EWS4.4 + MSV801.


After a a few days, with battery disconnected, (to swapp center diff).
They could start it, 1 time only.


After this, no more crank, and 0F dtc in the ews.


The 0F dtc, from the ews, they erased, and is not popping up.
Ecu and ews connectors look fine.


Launch, wont show me all the ews data, my guess it is lost synch.
Should it give me a dtc, in the ews, or ecu?

Avdi (oem offline) wont perform resync, it does not even connect to the ecu (dme).
With Launch i can see the dme.

Is this not a case of starter lock reset needed?

Online a and offline, Avdi connects to the dme.

I could not connect to the dme, using avdi.
Ews yes, lots of components connect just fine.

And launch connected just fine with the dme.

Is this a symptom?

I had one car with a failed starter. It took 2 EWS modules and hours of digging to figure out it was just the starter itself :-)
