It's a whole key - doesn't have a separate transponder. I usually rely on Xhorse XSMQB1EN and clone the existing ID of a missing key on it with VVDI2.

Xhorse xt1m, but most prefer to have a remote attached.

Only problem with XT1M is about 20% come out of the bag failed from the factory. I prefer to just use proper aftermarket or genuine keys harvested from change of identity kits most of the time, but for those odd 16+ Caddy, Amarok and Transporter still on 5k0837202ad(or equivalent) remote I use the XT1M for the transponder, just don't trust your bag if it's low.

Well if the client requires specifically a transponder only solution (though it wouldn't be justified enough compared to the loss of remote control), then there are available some small aftermarket PCBs with coil on one side and small square IC on the other which work as MQB... I guess they will be better than the XT1M but have not tried them. We have no such clients here.

    For example: https://www.honrow.com/product-8893.html

    The mqb xhorse transponders.
We cannot change the id, or unlock these.

They are better, then the small mqb print pcb transponder.
Mainly, the small size makes them easier to place in a remote. And i have had a few, simply death after a few months.

    About the xhorse xt1m
Perhaps, soon, we can change the id, on these

But yes, you can change the ID on these transponders. (XT1M) I learned them by prepare by load immo data -> oem, choose ID and vvdi2 changes it´s ID. And you can unlock and reuse them, but only if you first use "Reset VVDI Superchip", after that you can prepare it to 48MQB again, like it is an XT27B. I´m speaking about XT1M. On VVDI Plus Pad (the bis one) I had problems on XT1M, so I always use VVDI2.

    Greets MR...

Something went wrong, the first time, it tried, it failed.
And i could not do anything with the transponder afterwards.

I will give a new go, unlocking etc.

    Thank you
