I would like to know how to remove the immobiliser on ECU:

1.6 EDC16C34 ECU 0 281 013 872 96 648 437 80


I have read the st 95160 eeprom and attached it for guidance or change.

I have read using eeprom programmer ch341a by clipping on chip attqached to board.

Is it possible to write the same way or does the eeprom need to be removed.

Many thanks, I have a ch341a programmer I clipped it to the 95160 on the board to read. Can I program it with the 95160 on the board or do I have to remove it?

oh I see the * adds reputation, sorry I'm new did not notice that.

Well if you look at my post I have the program to do that what I was asking was whether it can be programmed without removing the eeprom using ch341a.

now it seems the write pin is tied to + so not sure if that will work on the other hand the data sheet says it is driven low to write so that seems to suggest it should. Others show (youtube) the chip needing to be removed.

Off course I can try your file on my car but I think it is only right that you thank me and add to my reputation for doing this too

It is always better to remove the eprom and write
