Ford Paint code equiry

Hi

I dont know if anyone can help with this query but due to this brilliant forum with so many knowledgeable people, I thought it worth a try to see if anyone can advise if I can get a paint code from Registration number or Vin number. I know the way to find it is view the normal places on the vehicle but I can not get to the car for ac week or so and as it is accident damaged I thought I would get the parts and paint etcetera in before it gets back. As mentioned I have the V5 with reg and vin but no vehicle for a while. Many paint sites advertise paint from reg but they do not show the code they just offer to sell you the paint but I like to use my own local paint shop.

Your local Ford dealer should be able to look that up.
