    Default SKODA Fabia 2014

    Hi folks.
Got a weary problem and i hope maybe someone already solved it.
When i open the driver's door it lit (a bit weak) up the charge light.
It also happens when i turn on the main beam lights.
I hope someone already found a solution for this problem, as it does not make any sense.
I promise to report any news.

    Thanks.

Maybe you can try and scan the car, sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere that is triggered by your door, headlights or the light switch

Problem is solved and as i prommised here is how, and it is important for everybody to know that it is all thanks to DK fine members and here is why:
Some weeks ago i read the entire 4 pages of thread name "Fiat Ducato Instruments Problems". It was very interesting at the time, but not useful. Then.
Now, i found the same behavour of dimmed LEDs in this Fabia, i remembered that the conclusion for the Ducato problem was one of the LEDs that suffered
from reverse leakage current (see reply #43 in that thread).
I checked that on this Fabia and it worked for me too.
The LEDs are multiplexed, therefor if one of the branches has a reversed leakage, it influence other members of the branch.
It is easy to detemine the LEDs on the same branch because they have resistors connected to each other.
I hope it will help DK members in the future.
