Yes it is SAFE 2. I left it on the power supply to reset the counter by itself so that it wouldn't dig around the dump. Thanks mate!

In order not to open a new topic, i have one question for all of you on the forum.
I'm expecting another radio like this for decoding, but my Seeprog programmer started to bug when reading the SPI eeprom, it goes into verification, stops, throws an error and that's the end. I've tried everything but even when i disable the verification, it starts doing it again and everything in a circle. I have a UPA programmer, but it doesn't have SPI 95128, but it has 25128 SPI, so i wonder if it is possible to decode this device if i read 95128 with the UPA programmer as 25128?NEC is not a problem, only this SPI 95128.
Thanks in advance @all on the answer.

That radio should arrive tomorrow so i'll give it a try.
It would be great if it could do 25xxx instead of 95xxx...
I spent all day today trying to solve the Seeprog problem. And i did nothing but get really annoyed.
    Thanks a lot mate.

i think Seeprog is the best for eeproms, i never liked upa..i had an original that never worked , poor service made get a cheaper one
i have repaired acouple of Seeprog progs over the years...usually was down to transsitors..bc548/557 if i remember correctly

I agree. Seeprog is the best for eeprom, but i think the real problem is that it goes into verification and when i turn it off, it gets an error...
I repaired them too when the transistors were a problem, but in this case i'm afraid it's something else.
I tried another computer, checked the LPT port, reinstalled software and port drivers but always the same.
I2C eeproms work ok but SPI won't...I decided to give up Seeprog temporarily and use UPA until i come up with something smarter.

I don't understand where you are finding problems
    UPA always had it
And I always read this eeprom using clip without problems

If UPA never worked for you, it's just your inability to work with a programmer
I have never been disappointed. I always write and read eeproms with a clip

Maybe the problem is that i didn't search for this 95128 in the list of all devices, but only in the SPI eeprom section.
UPA works great for me, except that i didn't find this SPI in the list of eeprom. Seeprog is causing me problems, so i eliminated it until i get another programmer.
