thank you but im lost i remember you helped me with that UD quester one with abit more explaining because im retarded.

heres how you helped me on the last one

"Mileage repeated 10 times, 052c-055d 5 bytes first four mileage inverted, last byte CS

Inverted hex to decimal/16 or hex/10 to decimal = KmX10

CS = Calculator on Byte, mileage bytes added, -1 then Not

First instance of your file (second instance is 406303.8):

    0520: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ff 3a dd df 03
    0530: 07

    Hex 03dfdd3a / 10 = 03dfdd3 to decimal = 406267.5
    CS (calculator set to Byte): 3a+dd+df+03 = f9 -1 = f8 Not = 07"

    friend mileage is from lines 02d8 to 0317 as Dr. Zoidberg says..... and algorithm used is vdo rolling factor 64 as clusters says (565760/64 = 8840 converted to hex = 2288 xor FFFF = DD77 *2 = 1 BAEE, 1 + BAEE = BAEF *2 = 1 75DE, 1 + 75DE = 75DF .......)

and from line 0318 to 0323 is dec *200 converted to hex

Ok so if i have this correct 02d8 to 0317 is stored from the VDO tachograph if the clusters parameters are set to have a tacho and 0318 to 0323 if it doesnt have an external tachograph.

0318 to 0323 is the actual mileage which is displayed on this specific cluster and its setup with out a vdo tachograph.

Hi, 24c16 = 2kb, your file = 32kb, I have my doubts that this ECU saves the mileage.
