    Default BIKE ECU tuning

    Hi Friends.

I am searching for other possibility for ecu tuning on bikes than powercommander.

Does it exist some software to modify maps of bike ecu s?

    Interface for reading?

    All proposals are welcome.

    Best regards

Any hex editor will work as a tuning software if you have a way to calculate checksum just as it is with cars. You can use WinOLS for sure.

You can tune suzuki directly with yoshimura tester up to 10 procent. I have made maps for powercommander by few different tuners. None of them was good as original yoshimura ecu.

I think you can find it on ebay, but dot know the markings, my friend brings it home from work, and have found it on ebay by markings think it was not so much expencive. But we dont need it as long as he is working in Suzuki :-). Timing retarder killer is also good stuff , the engine thinks its in 5th gear and gives full power in lower gears.
Also I know that on Yamaha r1 2004 some changes can be done thru dashboard, but its top secret stuff, cant find it in manuals. We use to play with it and you can feel the difference but dont know what we actualy did.

Yes for the TL1000 we did the timing retarder thing...works well, just it has NM now that even in 4th gear, 50km/h full trottle =wheely...in 1-3th gaer full trottle = not good idea

My friend looks in the shop he works,he thinks they have somewhere an not used interface

Can you make modifications on ignition air temp, just in realtime or extract the data from ecu, modify with winols?

    Thanks for the help M8

Does anybody have driver/chcks for suzuki gsx-r 750 2000year model K1 ? I have this one and I want to modify a little. Or another solution without interference in ecu? ...Instead of powercommander.

I can tell you one thing, if you want max from your Suzuki GSXR then buy yoshimura ECU, no tunning is possible on orgininal ecu exepct with originial equipment 10% on fuel and you can buy timing advacer 4 deg..
I have destroyed few ecu-s they are compleatly sealed with rubber-silicon mass and found no eeprom inside :-(......good lock
