You need to buy better hex v2 from flyfvdi.com if you want to read your car. The atmega is only hex v1 in side hex v2 case.

ATMEGA cables were clones based on RossTech Hex-Can interface. These only work on cars up to 2017 in most cases. Any model year after 2017 will require HexV2 clone that uses STM32 chip.

For the STM version, there are different versions for this too. Best to read up on them as some run into issues with loader updates. I'd opt for the STM32F429 clone, i've had no issue with mine since i got it a year ago and works fine with loader upgrades
