Default Help! Mercedes A180d Instrument Cluster Module Mileage Update

    Hello Kaosers,

I recently acquired a Merc 2019 A180d 1.5 Diesel with flood damage. During my investigations i found out that the instrument cluster module has gave up when submerged. And it disabled my instrument cluster.

I bought superceeded second hand module from ebay and when plugged in, voila cluster screen come back to life but no mileage whatsoever.

I then gone back to the old one and found 25640 eeprom and dumped it. It is attached to this post. Anyone have knowledge of how to get this into the new module and get the mileage showing back in the car?

I have dumped it twice with different eeprom readers, just in case.

If anything needed i have proper Launch Diagnostic Tool

    Kind regards,

I will try to plug the old one in and see what it will do, i did clean it all but have no hope that it could work. I can swap the eeproms but no idea if it will work at all.

My other possible route is to virginise the cluster module if possible so car thinks its new module and adapt it accordingly
