    Default E39 520D 136HP Bosch 0281010205 bad flash

M8's need help please, i went to a bad flash with BMW E39 520D 136HP.

First i was able to recover original file with galletto, and i flashed with another one not compatible, i didn?t know, now i'm trying to flash with original one but it gives INIT ERROR.

With a more extensive search i was able to find out that it uses two files?! HI and LO ?!

Has far has i know ECU files from 136HP e46(320d) and e39(520d) are the same, i have them both(HI and LO), but how can i flash it?

Should i use my original i read from my ECU, but it's not HI neither LO or use this ones, and how can i flash them both?!

    Regards

You can write it directly with a programmer plcc32, or modify the two dump into one, in this case you can upload in the ecu with galletto

When we use galletto to read original dump from this ECU it reads the two files buy into one?

What's the difference between HI and LO ?

How can i modify the two files into one ?

How can i upload it with galletto if it has INIT -1 ERROR ??

Sorry but i?m really mad, because it's my daily car.

    Thanks

Now I think that there have only one method for recovery . Desolder the two plcc32 chips and write them on the programmer !

Yes there are two chips inside the ECU !
Galleto join the two files in one while reading them !

    2 X 128 kB = 1 X 256 kB

After i flash both HI and LO chip's with PLCC32 adapter and a programmer with files posted on first post (downloaded from another forum) car didn?t start again, but galletto INIT error stopped and i was able to flash it again with galletto my original flash i had saved with galletto.

Can someone explain why car didn?t start with files posted on first post?

You use socket plcc32? or the eprom are directly on pcb? after having upload the file in the eprom with the programmer you has verified if the dump are the same? the file upload in eprom has the correct checksum?

I have desoldered the two chips and programmed with the PLCC32 to DIP adapter.

Dunno if the checksum was the same, but after i flashed the two desoldered chips with the programmer i was able to program ECU with galletto and with my galletto saved file (256kb) i had done before

Maybe it doesn?t start with the two first files because immo? Where is Immo in this ECU?

Is there any way to split my original galletto saved file in two (HI and LO) ?

the immo is in the two eprom and in the e2prom 24c02, upload here your full dump 256kb from galletto, so I can split it in Hi e Lo
