    Default MG/Rover Pektron Virgin dump?

Does anyone have a virgin dump from a Pektron immo (not 5AS) for an MG ZR 2004?

Apparently you cannot fit a previously used one to replace a faulty unit.
    Thanks

    *CONFUSED*

iF YOU HAVE a keyboard that plays up chuck it.

take it you mean "SCU" if you swap that 93c66 eeprom from dead unit to new unit/second hand, the customer is none the wiser. Engine starts remotes work, but 99% sure/THINK you need Testbook to 'activate front frog lights and bi-day' (rear wash wipe)

you 'cant' use secondhand remotes unless your programmer can suck out the codes, 14 didgit (ish) for you to re-use,

If you have had 15 goes key programming and locked up the unit, battery off vechile, short pin 1 of said eeprom to battery and power up.

NB you will need ear defenders as the alarm siren will kick in untill it gets bored, tough shit, stuff with rags

I bust my programmer a few months ago, but if you want can stick a USED 93c66 eeprom in the post (2nd class) if you PM postal address.

whats the problem? is the unit faulty or lost remote? you can write a new remote into dump if its lost keys. Dealers would just replace it.

    thanks for the replys,
I had a faulty SCU with no working remotes (also no comms with T4) and I wanted to fit a used virginised one with T4.
As it is I dumped the 93lc66 and added two new remotes then refitted it.
    It appears OK now.
I would still like a virgin dump so I can have one ready on the shelf for next time though.
I just dont fancy buying one from rover to dump it.

I thought if you just swapped the eeproms you would still have to match the "new" one to the ECU?

Don't ask questions, but it is possable to get a secondhand unit with pre-programmed keys, fit it and match up to the orignal engine ecu.

Where are the keys stored in here?

    Thanks
