Autel read it without problem but you must clean lacquer from the eeprom
Also if you do it with Autel careful look when you must disconnect the clip

Given that the chip is glued but the legs aren't just use an air gun and a scalpel. Slide the scalpel under the legs and separate them from the board. Then just solder on the legs
To clean, use paint stripper, sold in spray can.
Leave it on, about 10minutes, and clean it with brakecleaner.
Dont removed it.
Reading in circuit, lower voltage to 3.3volt.
Use a programmer, that monitors leg connections. ( Orange5 is my favorit )
I use this clamp, autel, and xhorse sell these:
YANHUA FEM/BDC Special Programming Clip Can Work With Yanhua ACDP, CGDI, VVDI, Autel
Dont connected, fem, to your keytool, during the prog connection. And vice versa.

Even if you connect it the wrong way around, it is fine.
It wont damage it.
But if you worry, Just look for a prog, that tells you, if it is connected fine, on all legs.
Upa, does not show it well, not like orange5.
vvdiprog, shows nothing. So dont choose that.
orange5 clone first version, like mine is perfect.
About the latest clones, i dont know.
I have a new 1.42, but not tested it

I use acdp adapter but not possible to read.
The new style ACDP clip works for me, and works with either VVDI or Autel. For the conformal coating, I carefully scrape it off with a small flathead screwdriver or exacto knife, then clean residue with qtip and rubbing alcohol. I'm sure it's not the best or smartest or safest way, but it has worked for me.
I would suggest using the newer style ACDP adapter which has two studs that you line up to 2 holes on the FEM circuit board. Part number SO653. Worked easily for me, but I was not able to read with the old style clip like in your picture.
Impressive job soldering the wires to the EEPROM though, in your next pic. I tried that too, but too many other small components close by made it difficult.
