    Default Cummins Insite 7.5 problems

    Hello folks,
I see that there is quite a bit of Cummins Insite expertise in this forum. I have a problem with mine that I'm hoping someone might be able to help. Insite version 7.5.0.234. Suffice it to say it's not quite legit. I'd like to get it to work though, if I can. What's happening is the same date issue that everyone is having. The insite detects an invalid computer date, and locks the software to read-only mode. That lock, wherever it is, is not removed by removing and installing Insite. This apparently can only be fixed by re-loading the operating system, which I find really irritating.

Some programs on my laptop require the "real" date, such as Firefox. Also, Microsoft will decide my operating system is not genuine, if I don't have the real date. Insite wants something like 2015, so I make the date "real" for when I want to use the other applications, but set it back to 2015 when I want to use Insite. That's what got me into this mess. So, it's going to keep happening. Maybe I should run insite in its own VM.

Can anyone tell me where this lock lives? I'd like to hunt it down and kill it, should it ever rear it's ugly head again.

Short of that can anyone send me the code to unlock my pc?

    PCID: 683EBF42
    Verification Code: 32437-F1CFA

    Many thanks!

Do you have to have insite 7.5? or could you use a newer version of insite?
