Please help a novice, really desperate now. Wiring problem on Berlingo 2.0L HDI 2002

Can you post a VERY GOOD close up of the diagramme on the fuel control relay.

The diagramme on the side, or re-draw on paper, scan and upload, so we can tell you what to look for.

If this is a mk2 which i suspect it is being a 2002 is wont have a main injection relay as such, it's an internal part of the underbonnet fusebox.

hdi suffer from fuel pump in the tank failing. this is low pressure pump. when turning in the ig listen for fuel pump. you can check wiring to pump. or if you get some 1 to crank car and give fuel tank a thump. this will normaly get it started if this is the fault i know you said fuel is getting to fuel pump. but by sounds of the mechanic, i would not take his word for it.

i also dont know if you tryed the spare key. if imobliser fault there should be fault codes. this will put you in right direction,
