0.8.6b works fine on W7 for me m8.

Mine runs and then says 'shutting down' but does run. If I try query the various tabs it loses the connection.

Ensure you have no IE windows running at all, then launch CCcam Info PHP.

The newer version has always done this to me, but making sure I don't have IE running first makes it work,
