Default Honda Navi 08A40-2S6-4100-01 type 9953838 by Clarion

    Hi folks,
need help with code for this Honda navigation. The code is User defined, serial does not work here
Already read NEC 70F3357, eeprom and BGA flash SST38VF6401.

Some users claim that code is in the SST38VF6401.
Here is the dump from it...

    Thanks in advance!

No one can help? Stop being lazy It is too easy to use old calculators. Start searching for the code and help a friend

Waiting for the 24C eEprom... Is very unlike that the code is stored on flash.

Just if someone needs them - the dumps from NEC and eeprom.
But to confirm, code is in the flash - 100%.

    It is over my head.
Indeed the EEPROM is almost empty and is nothing there, but the flash is 64Mb... . Not very easy to find it if don't have a clue.
I know that Honda (except for 2013 - 2014 Odyssey and Pilot that does not require a code and you can find in Owner's Manual the instruction for Radio/Navigation system initiation) have service of code recover that can reset radio and this code can be obtained for free in almost any dealer in the US. Some of them are providing this service online, if you have all the data, so is worth a try.

Guys, the unit was successfully decoded, as I wrote before the code is stored in flash. Once you have it, you can change it to anyone.

    Thx man!
I just wondering if you used a tool or something, but you choosed the hard way... hex. Even you had some info from "inside", it's still a great job! Congratulations!

    Hello guys,

I'm facing the same issue with my Honda Nav Sat unit 08A40-2R6-4000-01 by Clarion, witch is installed on my Civic 5d (model 2012). And in my case , the code is also user defined.
Would you be so kind to share some instructions about the steps I need to do in order to obtain/reset the anti-theft code?
