Hiya

I've got a 1998 Landrover Defender 4.0 V8 Auto and the 'Defender' labled radio wants a code.

It was in storage, the immobiliser and alarm drained the battery and when we came to restart it the radio wants a code

And the previous owner has 'mislaid' the handbook with the codes.

Although it does not say Philips on the front a bit of digging found out some details.

Philips 22DC710/61b

On the front it has: RDS EON 'CD Changer' Defender
(Although the CD Changer isn't fitted)
S/N rg710fw1018776 (Side of radio)

Other numbers:

9022 217 10611 M/ch: 018619

This is what it looks like, although this is for the Discovery (another LR model)

I've asked LR and the local dealership whistled air through their teeth and said it would be expensive and that I had to call back after the B/H.

So I thought I'd ask here

TIA
