Default Anti Pollution Fault 307 HDi 90

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone in the Glasgow area has a lexia kit so I can find out what's wrong with my car. It's stuck in limp mode and driving me mental. It's been going on for months now and driving on the motorway isn't the safest place to be when artics are flashing at you because your making them slow down!

    any feedback is greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi

Its not you must have PP2000/Lexia3...........you could use any good diagnostic tool to diagnose it and see what fault code are stored in Engine ECU...........

Also more info about you vehicle would be more helpful to help you out.............As Engine Code, What Year is it, What's the mileage done so far...........

Any recent service or, any repair work done.........?

    Thanks Ash

Oh yes if my post was helpful than Please don't forget to press the Magic word Thanks

    Hi Ash,

    Thanks for the swift response

It's a 03, has done 117000 and hasn't had any engine service done to it since my wife bought it a year and a half ago. Only new brakes, a wish bone and CV joints replaced on it.

I don't want to take it to someone who will bump me and say it's something else i need replaced or whatever hence why I asked on here if anyone local to Glasgow could diagnose what really is causing it to be in limp mode.

    Thanks

No. I really need to get it booked into a garage to get a service. However, I'm worried this won't resolve the root of the issue with it going into limp mode. I've heard of the fuel filter could be clogged and this could cost me a few bob and with Christmas coming up, I don't want to start forking out lots of money on it!

    Thanks

What are the odds for the DPF pressure sensor?

How high will the car rev?

If its not been serviced for a year i'd get the air filter checked out, could be full of shite and stopping the engine breathing, I can't see a new one being more than 15-20 quid

    Dear 181,

in first place don't be such a cheapskeater, please. How do you expect an engine running fine without any maintenance work done for 1,5 years? You should go for a service and fault code reading. Don't forget: It's the stingy person that pays more ( or got stranded ) ! !
Yesterday we stood in front of the abyss. Today we'll move ahead.

If you need any repair manual, pm me- maybe I can help you.

Odds on the turbo has banged out through lack of servicing. Nut jammed in the turbo turbine???.

Somehow, I dont think a 'nut in the turbine' would be caused by lack of servicing
