Hey, I got a free Stage 1 file for my W211 E280 3.2L CDI. I’m a bit skeptical about using it, since it was free, and just want to know how bad it can be. Also noticed it doesn't have the checksum corrected. I know that free tune files won't be the best and I’m not expecting anything great. If anyone can take a look and let me know what they think, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

The mod file looks ok, checksum is usually made by the writing tool, sometimes some tools give error if the checksum is corrected outside!
First 100 years is heavyer...

Oh I see. I was just planning to do this on my own car with a Kess V2 clone, so I'm going to avoid relying on the clone’s uncertain checksum handling. Thanks a lot for the help!
