Default Volvo XC90 2016+ adapting a used CEM, possible?

I have a Volvo XC90 2018 model with CEM SPC5656C - ON32E which is damaged and not identified on car or bench.
I had previously read the CEM immo data before and is available.
Is it possible to adapt a used replacement CEM?

    • Use jumper wires to connect the programmer to the module’s board.
    • Reference the wiring diagram for the 0N32E MCU pinout (often found in XP400/XP401 documentation or Autohex/Xhorse/CGDI diagrams).

    Backup the Original Module:

    • Read and save D-Flash and C-Flash from the original (old) module.
    • Verify the read was successful (check file sizes and checksum if possible).

    Backup the New (Replacement) Module:

    • Before writing, also backup the D-Flash and C-Flash from the new module in case recovery is needed.

    Write to New Module:

    • Write the D-Flash and C-Flash files you read from the old module into the new one.
    • This process can take some time — ensure the XP programmer is fully powered.

    Install the New Module:

    • Reinstall the cloned module into the car.
    • The vehicle should recognize the original key(s).
    • Existing car issues may remain, but the module will be properly initialized.
