NEED HELP, GOLF 4 MFD RADIO NAVIGATIO SYSTEM CODE

Guys, can someone explain to me the procedure for decoding the MFD1 from a Golf 4? I left the device with a technician and he extracted the code from the FIS MODULE. I don't really understand this stuff, but he got the code 1168. I don’t know what the FIS module is or whether the code is supposed to be extracted from the EEPROM. He tried entering the code but the navigation rejected it. The first thing that comes to mind is that he might not have connected the SAFE pin. To keep it short—can someone briefly explain the whole process so I can send him the exact steps, what he need to do, and from where to get code? Thanks for your help, it really means a lot to me, I have no one else to ask.

Hi, first upload the dump here so we can see it and then we'll see why this code doesn't work!
