    Default nintendo ds r4 game card problem

    hi can anyone throw any light on my problem......... both my daughters and myself have ds's with r4 cards........ both my daughters r4 cards have stopped working in their ds's the card loads but you cant scroll down to the individual games.....BUT both their cards work in my ds!!!!!!!!!! and my card works in their ds's.........any idea whats happening??????????? many thanks for any help........

    im no expert but, ive had a similer sort of problem in the past, pull the battries out of your your daughters ds's and put the time and date back 6 months, see if that helps. happened with my neihbours card. this fixed the problem

    Yep take card out and set ds date settings back a month/ year , also make sure firmware upto date

    This site is probably the best one-stop shop when it comes to checking firmware for ds cartridges, especially if you have more than one version.

    There are also some useful utilities/tools.

    Many thanks folks, i took out the batteries put the dates back 6 months and hey presto both cars are working again....... Great forum thanks a million.........not got as far as checking firmware yet

    You need to use the relevant firmware that is compatible with your card ... if you got the card with firmware on it and your not sure check the link in the above post and just choose the card you have
