cummins 7.4 fix

I have found a way to use the old keygen that many of us have on cummins 7.4

here are the steps

1/install cummins 6.5 from here

RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

2/run program and when it asks for key, use the old keygen and do basic-then pro (whatever you want.), I'd post the keygen in this thread but I don't want to be banned.

3/download and install cummins 7.4, it will automatically install as an upgrade.

4/run 7.4

5/don't panic, it will ask for a key, close 7.4

6/download this

put the security liscense where it says to (say yes to overwrite file) put the flexchecker.dll file where it says to (it won't ask to overwrite as there is not a file there with the same name).

7/run insite 7.x

no need to restart computer, please let me know if it works for you, I did on 2 xp machines and it was great!

i cant find anything on what this program does for me? Can you email or call me to explain? I have a cummins and want to make some changes for the good.

this is the program for cummins engine diagnostics, you can google "cummins insite" for more info.

ALso your first link says it is for 6.4 in the name is that right? it should say 6.5

fixed download all 4 of those files up top for insite 6.5

you can tune cummins with this yes. you can reflash the ecm with a different cal to gain more horsepower for most engines.

Thanks guys, Im learning.

I am a hacker, and modify raw bin files all the time, and understand how to do alot of things, cummins is just a new thing for me to mess with. Programming vehicle computers are not something new to me, i am just new to the diesel world.

that exactly why I haven't used that detroit recalibration tool or tried to get calterm, i have no clue what to change and I am not screwing up a customers truck, now dddrs,insite,et and dddl I'll use but not that special programing stuff.

the wife complains now how much I spend on stuff now imagine if I told her I had to buy a customer a ECM or programing or worse an engine. yike!

So what am I missing? I don't get is why install 6.5 first? Just install 7.4 and change the SecurityLicenses.xml file. And you done.

Does the old keygen product fleetcounts and pass removal? Is that the only advantage?

I guess it just bypasses having to get passwords from people online to get activated, but since we have so many good folk on here giving us keys this might be pointless, huh.

the old keygen does do passremoval and fleet.

Well there alot of people that are always asking for serials, but the SecurityLicenses.xml crack works fine. I never under stood why people keep asking when the crack is there.

But It doesn't do Fleetcounts and Password removals, So I guess thats where this comes in.

I had 7.4 install on one of my comps and it didn't have Fleetcounts. I tried uninstalling 7.4 and install the version you have on here. Problems is the old version wont run.

I am running windows 7 64 bit tho, so I'm not sure thats the problem or something to do with already have a newer version installed before.

I Installed 7.4 from ver sion 7.0 which had all of the keys installed and running. Once you upgrade it removed the fleet and PW and if u try to add in the key it indicates the keys have been used, guess it's in the reg somewhere.

It would be nice to have the Fleetcounts and Password removals, guess i'll just have to wiat.

well I have upgraded from 7.3 to 7.4 and it kept the keys.

Anyone else have the same problem?
