hi all,

just thought Id say hello, Im new to this site and find myself here because I have just taken delivery of a shiny new open media 500cs!

I would like to draw on your experiences to helpwith a question, do any of you know why I can scan for satellite channels succesfully but only the fta channels are working. I have followed the activating evocamd proceedure that came with the box but I suspect that the image is standard with the unit and wont allow encrypted channels. Am I right, do I need to flash another image guys ?

I really would be most grateful for any advice!!

Evocamd is great for cable but completely crap when it comes to satellite. When it comes to satellite you are better off loading CCcam 2.0.9 and the Satankey bundle.
