help with kwp2000+

can someone help me out,im wanting to no if i can make a lead up to use the kwp so that i can bench test and program ecus,,,,and if so would it be just a case of powering up the ecu and connecting to the diagnostic wire..........

You can use it in some ECu in the workbench.
You must find the 12v points, ground and K-line in the ecu and connect it with the 12v, ground and k-line from yhe obd connector.
It can be used like this to read an to write some ecu not to test if they are or not working.

cheers for that nuno,that is what i thought,ive got a male 16 pin obd,and im gonig to butcher it,so that i can power up the ecu,,,cheers again
