    help,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
    alpha 166 2.0 petrol 2001 will not turn over immo working fine light goes out no codes on the ecu,immo statis says allowed but will not crank over,fuel pump does not prime and no spark.checked all fuses, i need help

    Hi Dave, have you any warning lights in the dash when you turn the key on?
    It sounds like a complete power failure, main ignition relay? Also check the large fuses on the nearside inner-wing just behind the headlight.
    Those Alpha's have very bad quality wiring. Let me know how you get on.

    hi no warning lights,checked all the fuses,iam thinking it maybe the the ingnition switch on the barrell going to try that today,thanks for the input will let you know how it turns out

    Have you tried to take a look to inertia switch?
    I don't remember well where is located.
    By the way in some models, the inertia switch will cut-off after a firm driver'side door closure.
    Try to re-arm the switch.
