Nope afraid not, the cheapest working Enigma2 HD receiver is the VU+ SOLO at ?299 (I've discounted the Technomate TM-800 because it's still very much BETA software and not working fully at the moment)... Enigma2 is really what you want a Linux receiver to be running, there are other Linux based receivers but for most peoples needs they won't be what you want...So you are not going to get a Linux HD receiver for that price that works with Enigma2, you might get some other linux receiver at a push....

My advice though if the budget is ?200 then look at the likes of a Spiderbox, they are not Linux which means they are easy to setup, they have a card slot built in so you can use your own official viewing card, you can use as PVR via an external USB drive and they can connect as a client to CCcam and server using newcamd.... There are two HD models, the 7000 and 9000.

I am looking to upgrade my TM6900 HD with a Linux box that can do more hopefully as well as what the TM does for me so i would like an HD Linux box with RF out, Optical, HDMI, Ethernet, cam slots, card readers, USB slots for disks, unlimited channels, flexible software usage, etc.

What can a Linux box do for me what channels are open if one is purchased is upgrading keys/patches etc similar to a TM box.

I hear talk of Dreamboxes but has anyone got one to advise are they really better than other Linux flavours out there if so which one.

Which one has the best support out there.

Also see TM are about to release TM800HD Linux i don't know how this compares to Dreamboxes.

    Any advise info welcome

    Thanks in advance.
I found a new Cheap Linux box called Scopion HD801 and run on a NXP with Own OS, maybe members here see the box already and made test ?
