    Hi men i'm thinking of upgrading my setup i currently have a DM800HD what do you suggest ?

    Hi,
    Try the amiko alien 2 twin tuner. For 150 pounds you can't really beat it.
    Plus you can either run the spark firmware (very good) or your preferred enigma 2 image.
    Single tuner can bought off ebay for about 100 pounds.

    From what i've read so far the enigma 2 isn't up to much on the box yet.

    got a vu+duo clone, my one just will not pick up the fringe satelites, there are lots of threads around saying their tuners are not any good on weak transponders

    i have two vu duo clones and both running perfect for six months now and i have an alien two and enigma2 running fine with cross epg pvr, if anyone wants a working image and guide for amiko alien I`m happy to help just pm me

    im looking for sat box and i dont need the recording features, or the twin tuners. i just want HD channels and a tv guide.

    anything better than the F3?

    how is this box better than the tm5042 talking about the amiko 2?

    +1 with the above, cracking box, great value.
    Then again, Vu+ SOlos at ?120 + delivery is a steal

    what box is a clone of dreambox/technomate or vu+. i keep hearing that, but i have not heard anybody mentioned a specific box that is a clone either of the boxes.
    you understand as well that every seller on eBay claims that his is not a clone. so it would nice to state which box is either a ''good'' clone of particular box or bad clone
