    Default USB-RS232 Cable Driver

I've bought a USB to serial port converter but i can't work with it.
Unfortunately the driver CD provided with the converter doesn't work. So I need that driver badly. I searched a long time to find that driver but my attempt was fruitless. I got some drivers but none of them worked for me. Please any one help me.

are you sure its strange if the driver that came with it does not work, have you made sure the same com ports are in use,ie com 1 on pc in device manager,,and com 1 in other loader or whatever your using. have you tried a windows update sometimes it finds a more updated one, especially if the original was for xp and your using win 7 .

Sorry for this thread hijack but I am in trouble.

I bought an ExpressCard 34mm to get a serial port in my laptop.

However, later I found out that the ExpressCard can be connected into the PCMCIA 34mm socket via PCI or USB... and that's why I am in trouble... this ExpressCard is in fact a USB to RS232 converter and not a true RS232 port.

I always knew that USB<->RS232 converters work very slowly with certain devices.

Yesterday I tested this converter with some RS232 hardware I own and the data transmission is very very... very slow...

My question here is simple: This converter is based in the prolific chip, so, and does anyone knows how to get this work faster?

    Regards

Did it help? Push Thanks below

    DriverGuide
This is usually where I go first to search for drivers. As long as you know the make/model of the device, you can usually find a driver for it there.
