How to patch ds games for save not found error.

Thanks for the patch i hope it works, im trying to play one of the latest pokemon ROM, pokemon black, but i keep getting the error message:
savfile could not be founded
please restart your system

Ive tried everything and i cant recover my save files... must be messing up somewhere dayumn

For any one that is still strugleing and potentualy given up

I was stuck with pokemon platinum and by simply using
panasonic SD formater

simply quick format the sd card with this and it all works spot on ensure all the files are backed up onto your pc then format the drive then once finished copy all the files back on

How can you run a patch on game? Is it a firmware update or how does it get repaired. Is there matching firmware for the DS itself? Thx.
