Tips and Tricks using Das Developer edition

Hello everybody

This thread was created by Qrius in order to contain in one thread all the tips and tricks using Das Developer edition .

May I ask you please NOT TO VANDALIZE IT with comments like "I am going to try it" , "test" . Newbies can be excused for trying to improve their "Posts Statistics"



I am not trying to be clever, I am only trying to keep this thread free of noise so everybody can benefit by finding all those tips and tricks in one place

Here is how to:
Add cruisecontrol / limiter to your Vito/Viano W639 it's configuration.
This should work for all W639 till AJ08

In Developer mode :(tested version 10-2008)

In engine control unit:
Entwicklungen (Development data) ->F3
Password : flexecu ->F3
Steuergerate - Anpassungen (Control unit adaption) ->F3
Steuergerate-Anpassungen (Variantencoderierung) ->F3
VCD_Transporter->F3
a Pop-up tells you : "Mindest eine Codiereinstellung ist ungultig" confirm -> OK

Here you will find the option settings
write down the line that is blue.
For example : NSG or NAG_Klima_Wasserstandschalter

Now we search for the string that contains the same options + Tempomat and Begrenzer
So that will look like : NSG or NAG_Tempomat_v-Begrenzer_Klima_Wasserstandschalter
Once you find it , click it and confirm with ->F3
"Soll die Codierung in Steuergerat ubertragen werden ?"->F3
JA or YES->F2 to proceed

Now we log out the engine ecu and go to the :
Instrument Cluster ( Kombi instrument) (Magnetti Marelli)

Steuergerate-Anpassungen (Variantencoderierung) ->F3
Variantencoderierung Algemeine Daten->F3
Scroll down untill you see "Limiter" set to Ja or Yes ->F3
F2 -> F1 -> F1
Ansteuerungen -> Gesamstliste aller Ansteuerungen ->
Scroll down untill you see the line : Steuergeraet Resetten (PowerON-Modus) (FN_Reset_SG_Power_ON)
Press F3 and confirm again with F3
Now you will see the "Kombiinstrument" reboots

Cruise control coding is added succesfully to your W639 now

As for the cruisecontrol handle itself.
On the back of the EZS you notice there is place for 1 connector , this is where the cruise-contol handle will be plugged it.

Those who want to enable tankinfo on a W639 & W906
Should follow procedure as in post #2
But will find "Tankinfo in Reichweitenbild" in menu Reiserechner 1 .
All the rest remain the same

Hello

I need some solution when chaging ECU for autotranssmion in Mercedes Vaneo (w414). I have DAS with developer key. I put used ecu and car dont have F simbol anymore but when driving above 90 kmh it displays F and put gear in neutral.

Is there ayt info what I have to do when used ecu is puted in car.No errors just need to adapt this used ecu to this car???.

i have 2005 C180K 203.046, it is facelift edition.
my car have problem with Airbag, the Coding of Airbag ECU is wrong because it crash.
So, i have heard that we can eraser the Airbag crash data.
So, please help me, how to do it via Dev mode.

I have this same problems and I can't even unlock ecu because it tells me same "security access denied". I use das 2013.5 developer mode, can it be too new version etc.

Any ideas why I can't unlock ecu? Do I need das 2009 instead 2013 ? Now even in simulation unlock actuations give me result=0, is it OK or should it be result=1?
