ok when you open it click configuration ,do you see ..."your computer" on the left?and on the right your box? and that warning is in the middle isnt it? click to get rid of warning ,underneath dreambox youll see search ,click that,a new window will open its says search for ip addres of dreambox, click search and you should see it searching for your box ,its green band looking for your box
(mind and have your box connected to your computer and have dhcp ticked on box )if you have your pc connected to a router it should find it and if you have checked you ip addy of your box let it find it ,once its found it click accept, the link in dcc with your puter and box should turn green ,,,,thats it

    Default Connections

    Father Ted,
Many thanks for your help, Would it be okay to use a Null Modem
cable or Ethernet cable connected to both the computer and the Dreambox
    instead of a router ?.
