    This straight adaptor works well . at least got contact on bottom of pins as well.

    PSOP44 socket adapter for chip programmer

    Certain you can remove old adaptor for willem and install this one.

    Otherwise buy solder on adaptor.

    My problems been solved with double contact adaptor now .
    Do not need to have lost time anymore on read and write these pescy bastards..

    Today I tried to write AM29F400 with willem pcb 5.5c,
    Chip ID- ok
    Read OK
    Erase OK
    Blank Test Ok
    Write - Error at 0x00000000 Chip 0xc7 buffer 0xff ?
    I select Fast Programing and than it stops at 4% with error at 0x005768
    do I need 12v to write ? This 5.5c is powerd only by USB

    solved, just connect psop adapter without connectig 8pin ribon cable

    hello I use tl866-IIplus seems to be a good and cheap programmer

    I think labtool-48uxp is the best for flash 29f series !!!
