    Question this adptors from china is a junk

    i have a problem with this adaptor from prolific it ain't work i give up to try to make it work it seems with drivers from maplin its working so maybe sameoane wants to help me with drivers please

    Its for usb1 but works fine on usb 2

    Default problem with usb to serial adaptor

    thanks you for the responses but no joy;is not conecting what so ever.i changed the port from 1 to 10 no luck;i tried with hyper term is seeing is conected but is not transmiting enything;i tried with a router and web interface no joy;i tried with lan cable but no joy;im doing all the settings i give conect to dream up the answer is coming conex prepared now switch the box and then nothing hapend.what maight be the problem is the port seting is giving only 39 port but don't know from where to change to lan adaptor .i have laptop sony with vista on it.is giving and dhcp so i wonder is working with dreamup and router with dhcp. tried new software no joy ANY help and sugestion are welcome

    a friend told me im using a lan cable and not a crossover cable.is any diference to this cable?im off topic sorry for that

    thee difference is tx/rx wires crossed (so no need for a sub/switch) they are the same other than that.
