Thanks this is a lot better software than what we have got.

Although bad news for us, it still doesn't work, still comms error and dials drop.

Seems could be an interface issue??

Dont suppose you want to do us all another favour and post a pic of the internals of the interface or even a pic of the interface would be good.

tomuch, does your tool has usb dongle or it came without it...

i have fiat can 1.0 version with dongle and would like to try this 1.4... is it possible? did anybody tried it yet and can it destroy the interface?

I have Fiat KM tool that came with dongle and Fiat CAN v1.0.

I tried it with this software from tomuch Fiat CAN v1.4 and it starts up however I was not able to test it in the car yet...

As soon as I try it I will let you know...

Also I already asked somewhere on DK does this tool changes ECU or dashboard too?

@RCS you should be able to run this version without your dongle in.

I did not know that...

I tried is second ago and it works without dongle... Great...
However you said there is an issue while connecting... did you tried it on some cars yet?

Do you know where does it change mileage record?
In ECU or dashboard or both of them...

Yes theres the same problem for me, but maybe the interfaces are different?? as tomuch said this worked on his interface.

As for where it changes the mileage I'm assuming just the dashboard, but could be ecu too

About had enough

Tried 'read' whilst the lead wasn't connected to the car, it comes up with comms error and then I tried putting the lead into the car and the dials drop, it seems to lockup the device when you get a comms error untill you remove the usb side powering down the interface.

Paul have you tried the software from tomuch, and setup the comports as per video and word document . I dont have a car to try myself m8.

And tomuch please can you post picture of your interface m8

I also tried it but without connection to the car...
And it works...

I did setup com ports as required to com2 and adjusted latency... I guess it is MUST since the program itself requires it that way...

As soon as I test it on the car I will post results...

Yep, and setup com port the same, although the program deffo dont need you to change the com number as it dont start without a fdti device in so it detects the port just fine ( tried it anyway though)

Maybe a different story if you've got 2 fdti devices in your comp??

hello together ,
my interface works without dongle and can make only dashbord not ecu .tomorroww i will open it for you and make pictures in high resolution .
Is there someone who can help me with an audi a4 year 2006 rb8 with vag commander 3.6 i get the car tomorrow and dont want to destroy something.any advice is wellcome.

Thankyou for your help michael its very frustrating buying tools that dont work and your software and pictures are greatly appreciated.

Now onto your audi m8, unfortunately i cant help. But:

If i where you m8, i start a thread in dashboard asking about your A4 in the dashboard section. Im sure someone will have some good sound advice for you m8.
