    Default Fiat key programmer

    Hello everyone ,

I'm a beginner when it comes to car programming, I want to please ask you a question about the Fiat key programmer AK48

If i want to start the fiat palio or sienna car , do i have to cut the Fiat key first (id48 transponded key) with the Lishi key cutter before programming with the AK48 ?

Thank you for your help ^^

    Hi there,

did you have a bad experience with the AK48 ?
Unfortunately, i don't have that much money to buy sbb, mvp or t300; i wish i could afford them
do you think it's necessary to cut the fiat key before programming it ?

Stop giving advice when you DONT HAVE A CLUE!

You can not program a blank key just using a programmer such as sbb with the pincode - you need a precoded key

Also I wouldn't bother with the ak48 its a piece of junk!!

It gives the same error code if it can't dect the eprom as if its the wrong type/ not supported type, leaving you clueless whether the chip in placed correctly.

Also I tried with a punto and also tried flashing the eprom with a palio eprom dump to see if it could do that, and all I could get is a error.

Also you will have to remove the eprom from the body computer to put in the ak48 and put it back.

And no you dont have to cut the key beforehand

PIN is visiable in dump 2 times,no need sw for it,but you need prepare of megamos ID48 after to be coded on car with ad100 etc...

    Tmpro,zed-bull,are trustable tools for that

I decided to buy the SBB programmer, do you guys think it's a trustworty programmer for Fiat (palio,sienna,punto..) ?

paul_12345 You said that in order to program fiat keys, i need a precoded key. Do you mean a genuine key from the Fiat manufacture warehouse ?
Do you know some websites who sell precoded keys ?

    Thank you for the help

You will need a precoded key and pin code then you can use the sbb to program the keys in.

You can either get the key from fiat and program it yourself probably still costing loads

or you open the body computer remove/read the eprom, get someone to create a precoded transponder from the eprom dump, and also retrieve the pincode, then you can finish the programming with the sbb

yes you will need to still remove the eprom to precode the keys.

The zed-bull will give you the pin code
