That depends on your router, mine is 10.1.1.23.

Do you have DHCP enabled?

it can be any thing as long as on your network, u can change in menu on box

As already said, the ip address can be anything you want.

As long as the dreambox and PC are on the same subnet.

Hi to make it simple set up ip address on you dreambox as 192.168.1.1 and on your pc as 192.168.1.2 use a netmask as 255.255.255.0 and you will be able to talk to it, if you are not using a hub/switch you will need a crossover cable, pins 3+6 to pins 1+2 and visa versa on both RJ45 Plugs

If you are connected on broadband, and this is the address of your box check you computer ip on windows its ipconfig /all at the CMD prompt, on linux its ifconfig at cmd prompt

If you look at you wireless router status page (usually on 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254, you should be able to identify an ip address assigned to 'dreambox'
