    Default Volvo V70 Dashboard problems/questions

    Hello,

someone here who knews how to power up the following
    Volvo dashboard?
The following numbers I can find on the backside:
    0839463
    8637993
    8602471
    2248
    69294-620T

    14 Pin green connector

    Pin1: +12V
    Pin14: Gnd

Pin1 + Pin14 are for voltage supply, but I think
it must be wake up by CAN.
    Which messages must be send?
Someone have a CAN-Logfile off these car?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

yes this iss the power supply and I tried it.
But in this state its waiting for the right CAN messages...
(I think it needs Kl.15 over CAN).
But I dont know what I should send...

If you only connect power supply, the current is 40mA and
    no light is flashing...

Can someone send me a logfile from that car?

Without Can wakeup the dash dont light even with 10A current power source. Maybe using Can analyzer some results must rise.

    Hi,

I'am using a power supply with 10A...thats not the problem.
I got Canaylizer too, but I don't know what I must send.

Volvo uses 29Bit Identifier with 125kBit/s.

    Hi !!

I'm too trying to power up a dashboard on VOLVO v70 but nothing.

After powering up the 12V, the dashboard sends some Can Frames during 2 or 3 seconds ; and after nothing.
I Think it's waiting for Start Frame (Can messsage).

Is there anybody succeeding in ?

A way should be to take frames on the physical car with obd plug and a can analyser. And after, isolate the right message.
But I don't have the car close to me.

Help should be nice ! ;-)
