You are correct, v05.08 can not work with clone zb.
Update successfully zb 05.02 to 05.08, but not working & dead my zb clone

I will uplad more prictures to hardware difference next week Monday.

The new zb hardware added one 93c46 eeprom and there is no COM interface but USB only !!!

Zbp to Bin

Hi,

Your zbp to bin converter is not a correct bec when your open any zbp file you will see first 2 byte the package lenght : 01 12 after 00 12.

01 12 = 274 byte
00 12 = 18 byte

When one pckage lenght 01 12 sent then zb confirm byte is 11.

You will need decrypt these zb and ad900 update files.

I asking this bec your secret bin is the Atmega 0x0000-0x007F contents.

Also do u have the DS2432 8byte secret HASP key?

So, your zbp to bin converter is correct but u need it without 01 12 & 00 12 package lenght bytes.

Hi, everybody. there are good news
Today worked with the zbp file, something turned out.
The program works not absolutely correctly, but I over it work.
If who has Zed-Bull clone with a firmware less than 5.02 and wants to risk to update the to version 5.02, I is ready to try to write the program.

I understood about what you speak
I didn't deal before with zbp, now understood

There is an assumption that packages in the size of 276 bytes it is data and packages in the size of 20 bytes it is a key for decoding of data. Decoding occurs already in the device of Zed-Bull.

Yes, the device encrypts the content, but for this to be a long 8byte HASP key is stored by the DS2432.

Do you have this 8byte HASP key to zedbull?

Only ,I have it to AD900.
