    I have a faulty ECU for a 1998 Alfa 146.Bosch Me 1.5.5 Part No. 0 261 204 946. I have found a replacement secondhand ECU . It is a Bosch Me 1.5.5 ECU.
Part No. 0 261 204 948. I need to either convert it back to a virgin ECU or alternatively bypass the Immo.
Is there a way to read & dump the mmemory. I beleive one can overwrite the flash but not read or dump it.
I have the pinouts & pin allocations for it but no indication of read activation pin allocations.
    Regards,
    Devc

Hi, I know someone who can make your M155 ECU virgin again, they charge US$80, but unfortunately it's in Brazil, where are you? They also sell second-hand M155 virgin for a very good price if you need.

I also own a Alfa 156 with the same ECU and mine had a broken pin. A new one from the dealer was very expensive, but I got from them for a fraction of that.

Let me know if you want their contact.
    Cheers!
