    Default Turbo specifications K03

Hi i have a turbo on my car which is a 06a145704a and i have managed to get my hands on a 06a145704

my car is an audi tt 1999 1.8 turbo 180hp (06a145704a)

    the turbo i have got v cheap is a 150hp (06a145704)

if change the end fittings over so it will bolt to my car ok will this give me enough boost as i only see the 06a145704 model fitting on 150hp model cars or will it create more boost as my car exhaust pressure will spin it up faster. i have seen an American site saying this fits my car see link

    http://www.volkswaparts.co.uk/JettaK03Turbo.htm

can anyanoe help here i am in a real dilema should i fit it or not what will happen if it is not powerful enough?

if the turbo is ok just fit it, you probably won't even notice any difference

well done, now you've got a working turbo again take care of it. Frequent oil changes using good oil, if you've been hammering it always let the engine idle for 2-3 mins before switching off to cool the turbo, even if you've not been hammering it i'd give it 30 secs on idle
